I promised to enjoy what life offers in front of me and I will make sure that I live a fulfilled life everyday. I am giving importance to everything that God has created because keeping close to nature for me is like cleansing my spirit and embracing His gift. Nature never betrayed me, not even once! Its beauty will not age just like the love I have for it.
A co-worker once told us that if we wanna see and experience a priceless beauty of nature, we need to go to a public beach (no entrance fee) named "Maravilla White Sand Beach" in Tabuelan, it's 88.3 km away from Lapu-lapu City. She told us that it might take us 3 hours of travel but assured us that it's worth the effort to reach there. I and Jhai, my forever travel buddy got very excited and are always ready to take risks. We promised to enjoy the travel and not think about getting muscle pains :)
We went to North Bus Terminal to take the MeiMei Bus which will drop you off directly at the intersection of Maravilla White Sand Beach and the fare is 100 pesos/person. Lesson learned: If you are from Lapu-Lapu City, don't ever go to North Bus Terminal since it will take its route to Mandaue specifically in Phoenix Gas Station near the Mandaue Bridge. You can just wait for the bus there. We didn't know it until the bus took us to where we came from :'( Well anyway, that was just a very little hassle. The three-hour travel was so tiring but as our co-worker said, it will be worth it!
Once you reached the intersection, just walk a few steps and you'll reach the hidden beauty of Maravilla <3

You might want to pay a visit in the Barangay Hall and ask for some assistance.

A Chapel beside the Barangay Hall.

You will be directed to the Tourism Office and have your attendance there. Remember, there is NO ENTRANCE FEE since it is a public place. You will have to pay if you want to rent a cottage/room/tent. You can bring your own tent and pay for 100 pesos for the space. YOU are ONLY allowed to assemble one starting 5PM or 6PM.

We arrived there at 1 PM but not yet allowed to use our tent. We needed shelter until 2AM, so we rented a nipa cottage. Luckily, they only have few visitors by that time so instead of asking us to pay 300 pesos for day use and 500 pesos for night use (800 pesos in total) the lady was kind enough to give us a 50 % discount.

YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR RULES AND REGULATIONS. CLAYGO everyone :)

Welcome to our cutie little nipa hut cottage :) We brought foods for our entire stay. It's time for lunch and lez go swimming!! :) :) :)

We chose Cottage 1 which is near to the Tourism Office, for security purposes.

Foods and water will not be a problem since there are stores inside and outside the beach but it's better to be prepared :)

So now, let us share to you the beauty of Maravilla :) Ahhhhhhh Soooooo HAPPY :) :) :)

Green trees, clear water, white sand and with only few people around, so perfect for relaxation! :)

Playing around with the sand :)

I guess that was 4PM when low tide took place. Still, the view was breathtaking :) LOOK!

We roamed around and found star fishes everywhere!

For the information of everybody, Tabuelan 226 triathlon will happen on September 16, 2017 here at Maravilla, Tabuelan, Cebu. Thank God we had the chance to take pictures here in advance :D

Look at how beautiful the sunset was, despite the thickness of the clouds in front of him.

Few minutes later :) :) :)

The sunset was so refreshing and made me remember some memories in my childhood days. Even if we rented the cottage, we won't have that "comfortability" when sleeping so we used the tent that we brought instead. We did star gazing and talked about life a lot. There were few people around us and I felt that it wasn't that secured to be sleeping alone in the area. There was a care taker sleeping outside the Tourism Office but I didn't notice him doing some roving (I maybe wrong but it's better to be alert at all times). So guys, always secure yourselves and your belongings.

However, we still felt a little bit secured because we had three body guards around us. We actually had a lot of time bonding with them early that afternoon. Aren't they adorable? :) our three doggy-guards :)

We woke up at 1:45 AM and fixed everything (HAGGARDo versoza haha). We head back home at 2AM (first trip for Mei Mei Bus going to Cebu City proper). Another three-hour travel, so we just slept the whole time at the bus :) The whole experience was priceless even though muscle pains are felt everywhere. Thank you Jesus for giving us the chance to see your creation beyond our imaginations!:D

Until next time guys, paalam!
