I am an avid fan of Korean Historical Drama and I love to see people wearing "hanbok", the traditional dress in South Korea during the Joseon era. The type of hanbok that people wear depends on its purpose, it can be an everyday dress, a ceremonial dress, and a special dress. I wanted to go to Korea so bad, to know what it feels like wearing it. Am I being shallow now? :) I just love the fine lines on the skirt, how vibrant the colors are and how a Joseon citizen wears it with glamour and grace. Ahh! I am totally captivated by its beauty.
I and Jhai, my beshy/travel buddy/food buddy had this unusual excitement to go to a Korean Cafe where we can eat, rest and enjoy as much as we like and my sister wanted me to search about a place called "Cafe Tiala" near Ayala Center, specifically located at The Forum, Archbishop Reyes Ave, Cebu City. I was very delighted looking at the photos because the Cafe looks clean and inviting, the menu will probably have 80 percent chance of satisfying my cravings and will surely make my wish come true!I am talking about my desire to wear a hanbok :) So this is it! There's no need for me to go to Korea and experience this shallow dream of mine. Here we go...
So this is what it looks like on the outside. Gosh, I was so excited!

What a clean place :) There are actually several rooms to choose from. You can have the powder room, nail room or the DVD room. We chose the DVD room and watched 2 movies in a row :D

This was the most exciting part for me :) I got to wear a Hanbok and felt like a princess, ha! ha!

Show your respect Agashi! I'm sorry, the right hand must be on top. I was just too excited :)

I enjoyed wearing it for hours... Thank you Cafe Tiala :) hehehe...

Jhai also had a selfie wearing a costume and I was the worst photo bomber :)

Watching The Boss Baby while eating Korean dishes..

Here are the dishes that we ordered and their corresponding prices:
1. Half Ramen- 99 pesos

2. Tteok bokki- 159 pesos

3. Gimbab- 129 pesos

4. Kiwi Smoothie- 149 pesos

5. Blueberry Smoothie- 149 pesos

We only ate those but we were so full. I felt that my stomach was going to burst. We spent almost 4 hours at the cafe and it was all worth it. I loved every bit of it :) I'll make sure to come back next time and fill in the blanks hahahah!! Credits to my sister and my food buddy! Many thanks Cafe Tiala <3
